(top-end variant, revision unit). Although both smartphones have the same specifications, they differ in design and user interface. OnePlus has just launched the latest OnePlus 10R 5G smartphone in India and is located under the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. The OnePlus 10R has a set of features and powerful specifications, such as the new MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX and powerful SuperVOOC 150W fast charging support. You also have an impressive 50MP OIS camera and a 120Hz fluid AMOLED display, which are some of the main advantages of a smartphone. Here's what we need to say about OnePlus 10R 5G in the review.

In terms of design, the OnePlus 10R 5G looks heavy, large and thick compared to the Realme smartphone. However, on paper, both smartphones have the same weight and dimensions. The known difference is due to the flat frame and shape factor of the OnePlus 10R 5G box compared to the traditional design of Realme GT Neo 3 5G chamfered edges. The design is somewhat subjective and users who want a little more will appreciate the subtle design of OnePlus in Sports Realme. However, the phone lacks the classic OnePlus requirements and the warning slider. It's not a big loss for someone switching to OnePlus, but existing OnePlus users will find it frustrating.
The OnePlus 10R 5G user interface comes to the Android 12 operating system based on OxygenOS 12.1. As with previous versions, the user interface is clean and free of bloatware. For comparison, the Realme UI 3.0 interface on the Realme GT Neo 3 5G is full of bloatware. As such, the OnePlus 10R 5G offers a much better experience, although not very different from Realme - the same user interface built into OPPO's ColorOS framework. In terms of design, OnePlus seems to have changed its design from its predecessor, but it didn't really surprise us. The overall design is flat, not curved, as you can see from older generations, the rear and side frames are plastic / polycarbonate designed unexpectedly, with no signs of glass or metal on the outside. Something similar to what happens with today's iPhones, flat design has become fashionable. Because you can't see the glass or metal back, the OnePlus 10R 5G is a drop in design for those who used previous OnePlus phones.
The new design of the OnePlus 10R 5G gives you a firm grip and the good thing about this smartphone is that it is now slightly thinner (8.2 mm) and lighter (186 grams) than its predecessors (OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9RT 5G). It's perfectly light and thin, but still doesn't want to hold a premium smartphone due to poor design.
We got the Sierra Black model with a two-color design with one texture and one matte finish, while the other is in the same Forest Green color.
The OnePlus 10R 5G uses a better display with a 6.7-inch fluid AMOLED display and 10-bit color depth (1B colors). Full HD + resolution (2412 x 1080 pixels, 394 ppi) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an aspect ratio of 20.1: 9. The fluid OLED display uses an adaptive refresh rate of 60 Hz / 90 Hz / 120 Hz and a touch response of 360 Hz (hardware ) and 720 Hz (software). Other display features include sRGB, DCI-P3, HDR10 + and 10-bit color depth, which provide better overall display quality. The display is very nice and offers one of the best in its class. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen is scratch resistant, but we haven't found any waterproof certification for water protection.
Some OnePlus users may be frustrated by removing the Alert Slider, yes, the OnePlus 10R does not come with the Alert slider, which is available on all previous OnePlus smartphones. You have the fingerprint scanner under the screen and it works well. The right side has only one power button, while the left side has two separate volume controls. At the bottom is a USB Type-C port for fast charging, data transfer and audio output, a speaker (stereo), a microphone (next one above) and a box for two SIM cards. The charger supports two 5G SIM cards with dual standby mode, there is no microSD slot in the phone. Like the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G and the recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, the OnePlus 10R 5G also uses OxygenOS 12.1 based on the Android 12 operating system. OxygenOS 12 is the latest user interface from OnePlus and includes many features over the native Android 12. OxygenOS is now one of the best Android interfaces that does not contain bloatware and offers better customization and features. OxygenOS 12.1 runs on Android 12 with a security patch of March 5, 2022, OnePlus has promised a three-year Android OS update and a four-year security update for OnePlus 10R 5G, which is its smartphone.
Oxygen OS 12 has many more features than Android 12, you get personalization and Oxygen OS features such as security updates. One such feature you'll love is the shelf, which shows you a tiled view (such as a map view) of apps, weather, notes, music, fitness and more. The user interface is clean, smooth and without delay, the experience is generally good and thanks to the refresh rate of 120 Hz it is smooth. You can customize the user interface through various customizations and optimizations in Oxygen OS. On this phone you get a new, OnePlus 10R 5G powered by a brand new 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX, which is the same as the one we saw on its rival. realme GT Neo 3 recently. Dimensity 8100-MAX is the core of SoC, you can see the screenshot CPU-Z that you see on the processor. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX operates at 2.85 GHz with a Mali-T610 MC6 GPU (6-core) for smooth gaming. The CPU is one of the main advantages of the smartphone along with 150W (and 80W) fast charging.
As for pre-installed applications, only the main Google applications, Netflix and some OnePlus applications come with the phone, others are only clean, no third party applications are installed, as you have seen on some smartphones. On the settings page, you can also find OPPO ColorOS monitors, some familiar camera application features, and more.
In addition to design and interface, the OnePlus 10R 5G is quite similar to the Realme GT Neo 3 5G. It has a 6.7-inch FullHD + 10-bit AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen is clear, bright and sensitive. With loud, balanced and clean dual stereo speakers, the phone offers a great audiovisual experience. In terms of CPU, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G is a fast SoC built on a 5nm process consisting of 4 + 4 core configurations, four high. -powerive cores ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.85 GHz and four energy-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz.
SoC performance appears to be faster than its predecessor (OnePlus 9R) and appears to be comparable to the Snapdragon 888. The 8100-MAX is also one of the most powerful premium chipsets, partially retaining the Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 One of our Geekbench 5 benchmarks scored 884 points in the single-core CPU benchmark and 3,539 points in the multi-core CPU benchmark. The GPU received 3,748 points, which means it has enough power to handle the demanding tasks of the GPU. OnePlus 10R 5G uses an advanced cooling system, has high-performance graphite technology for temperature control. It has a large cooling area of 4,129 m2 steam chamber, which improves heat loss.
For gaming, the Mali-T610 MC6 grabs the GPU, which is a 6-core GPU and is best suited for gamers. The game performance is impressive, it handles games very smoothly and by default there are no snags, even at the maximum graphics settings, the game looks smooth and the phone looks cool. Some of the games we tested were Battlegrounds Mobile India, Asphalt 9 Legends, Shadow Fight 4 and more. Shooting is powered by a triple camera on the back with a 50 megapixel primary sensor (Sony IMX766) with optical image stabilization (OIS) combined with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The front of the phone has a 16MP camera sensor. The most important camera for a versatile artist. Requires detailed photos with good colors, medium dynamic range, and decent detail in highlights and shadows, regardless of lighting conditions. OnePlus 10R 5G has two variants of RAM and storage and another with the possibility of fast charging with a relatively small battery size. 8
